WonHundred Word Wednesdays




He hadn't meant to scare the child, but what else could he expect? He was a beast. The wreck had damaged him beyond repair years before.

 He had heard her crying and the sound broke his heart. He could have left her and returned to his home. He had every right.

 But she reminded him of the daughter he had lost. What would she have thought if he’d just left the little girl lost in the woods? He pulled out the doll his daughter loved so much and handed it to her before calling the police to find her parents.
