WonHundred Word Wednesdays






He didn't understand what he'd done to her, but he would by the time she was finished. She’d waited for years for him to notice her. The day he asked her out was the best day of her life.

Or so she thought. He had treated her well when he took her to the dance. The one time she’d felt like a princess. It was later that night she found that he had only gone with her as a bet.


Her hopes had been dashed, her heart broken. She tightened the last few strings of the voodoo doll and smiled.
