WonHundred Word Wednesdays

They say everyone who looks into their family history will find a secret sooner or later. They say there’s one in every family. What they didn’t say was that learning what that secret was could cost me my life.

There was a magic that ran through my bloodline. One very powerful and very dark. It was smothered and destroyed a century ago. Or so they thought.

The document in front of me told me to beware of a descendant born on a full moon on the last day of July. I watched the letter turn to smoke. It was me.

Now see what everyone else came up with!

  1. cool. This would make for a fun short Halloween story. You should totally write it in between all the other writing projects you're doing. ;)

  2. A personal realization that isn't so great. Interesting start.
