Story Time ~ With a Surprise Ending!

Once upon a time, I got a book contract, and I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait for my book to come out. Things were going fast and my book release was coming up fast. And then I got my cover.

It was ...  frightening. Yes, that's a good word. But I wanted my book out. I wanted to hold it. And I wanted to have my book launch, so I approved it.

Things stopped going smoothly from there. My book wouldn't get approved for print because they couldn't make it work, so I finally admitted that I hated the cover. And the publisher agreed. He got someone new to work on it and we released the new cover in January of 2014.

It was cute. And it showed my leprechaun, so it was a lot of fun to share it with my friends and family. We had my launch in January of 2014. Then in March of 2014, this happened:

And then in June of 2014, this happened:

My leprechaun series was complete! Or at least I thought so (book four is currently in progress, along with a novella prequel—yay!).

Through a series of events,  I decided it was time to go solo on this project. In May, my publisher was sold, and since neither company had me sign a new contract within the allotted time stated by the contract, the rights were reverted to me. I don't think either one realized that, but it was a freedom that I welcomed. Now I could change a few things in my books and make them fit the series a little better. They were my first books, and therefore, I had things to work on. I knew I could make them stronger.

These last couple months have been filled with rewrites of all three books and I'm thrilled with where they are today.

I just want to say that I'm so beyond thankful to the publisher, cover artist, and to my sweet editor who gave me the chance to get my books out there for the world to see. Thank you.

And now for the new versions. They will come out next month, and my relaunch will be February 28th at the American Fork Library.  Ready?

Thank you again for the support you've shown me throughout the last couple years. I hope you will enjoy the update versions of this series!
