The coronation had happened several days before, but there was still talk of a revolt. She had done her best to keep everyone happy, but she had rivals that spread rumors among the villagers.
She decided to go to her father's grave, to ask his advice. He had always been there for her before and hoped that talking it out would help her. She knelt down and cleared the debris from off the stone and began talking.
Tears ran down her cheeks as she spilled out her sorrows.
“Hannah?” a voice said from behind her.
She whipped around, surprised. “Father?”
Now go see the rest!
Now go see the others!

I love this! You really feel for her in such a short space of time.
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy being queen. You really can understand everything she is going through and it's very intriguing with the father talking. Makes you want to know more.
ReplyDeleteOh, fun. I hope she gets the answers she's looking for. And a great big hug.
