“Spare some change please?” The little street urchin looked up at me with her hands held out, her large eyes pleading.
I felt the small amount of change in my pocket, thinking. There were so many poor people around me, all needing food. If I were to help her, everyone else would surround me.
Times were tough everywhere, but the typhoon had hit this village the worst, being on the coast.
The little girl tugged on my pant leg again. “Please? I’m so hungry.”
I dropped to my knees and placed my coins in her hands. “Share with the others.”
Now go see what the others did!
