He wanted her job, and it would be easy enough to discredit her. He had been there when she’d done her research. He knew every ounce of work she’d put in. But he also knew the shortcuts she’d made. Some were legal, others were borderline.
The trick was to hit at the right time. The investors would be here Thursday and he had to make sure that her files showed up on his boss’ desk for them to be seen. He pulled up the work on his computer and smiled. Only a couple days more and that job was his.
